English Garden

Here at Durham Distillery, we love a good excuse to raise a glass, and there are few better excuses than by celebrating World Gin Day! We marked this very special occasion by making one of our favourite Durham Gin cocktails.

Quintessential British summertime flavours of elderflower, apple and cucumber taste fresh and clean in the glass, but the complex spicy and savoury notes of our gin still keep it balanced. Best enjoyed strolling the grounds, in your own (country) garden. Cheers!

50ml Durham Gin
75ml fresh pressed apple juice
15ml St Germain elderflower liqueur*
25ml freshly squeezed lime juice
Lime wedges
Cucumber slices

-Shake all liquid ingredients on ice
-Double strain into collins glass with plenty of ice**
-Garnish with thinly sliced cucumber and a couple of lime wedges

*if you cant get hold of St Germain, try a dash of elderflower cordial
**we like to make ice cubes with our dried foraged elderflowers for an extra classy finish!
