This is a simple mojito recipe with a Durham Gin twist, an elegant and refreshing tipple.
The recipe originates from the east coast of America at the start of the 20th Century, and was featured in the classic Savoy Cocktail Book in 1930!
The Southside cocktail can be jazzed up with soda water to make a Southside Fizz (pictured), or with Champagne to make the luxurious Southside Royale.
